A torque resisting device for a helicopter which comprises a body, a first rotor and a tail rotor wherein the device comprises a deflector secured to and moveable relative to the body, wherein the deflector is positioned between the main rotor and the tail rotor and wherein the deflector is positioned generally aligned with the body in a non-deployed position and a portion of the deflector is positioned spaced apart from the body in a deployed position.
